AnnoyingApr 27, 2010 As soon as I heard the alarm on this alarm clock I sent the clock back. I have always had Seiko alarm clocks but now the alarm sound is not ascending as my older clocks were. The alarm starts off loud and annoying. I prefer to gradually wake up and not be jolted up by a loud noise. A true ascending beep alarm should start off low and slow and then become fast and loud.

Alarm snooze button stopped working after six monthsApr 05, 2010 I purchased this clock in August 2009. The alarm snooze stopped working after 6 months. Now when I turn on the alarm switch it keeps on ringing. The clock I had previously worked for 5 years without a problem, until the battery case got broken when replacing the battery.

very good battery powered analog alarm clockMar 18, 2010 Very nice alarm clock; battery powered so it will keep time during power failures. It's silent as it doesn't tick, which is nice. The hands remain bright enough to see during most of the night. Sturdy and easy to use. A lttle more expensive than similar alarm clocks you'd find in a local store, but reasonable and worth the price.

Great bedside clockMar 07, 2010 I love this clock. It's works on one AA battery. (lower EMFs) It's visible in the dark, but not too visible. The alarm works fine. The price is reasonable. The best part is the silence. This has NO ticking sounds. I don't love the looks of it, but it's function is so superior that I don't mind the looks.

Solid clock with a problemJan 07, 2010 This is a good clock as other Seiko clocks. But the hands are hard to read in the dark and there is no light in the clock. So I have to guess what time is at night. It is a problem for me, since I check time in dark all the time.
