Rado Sintra quickly became my favorite watchApr 17, 2005
I've owned my Rado Sintra for almost 2 years now. I have several watches including some fine Swiss automatics, yet I find my Rado (also Swiss made) is lighter, more elegant, keeps better time and is completely worry free than my automatics which require significant service every few years. After wearing this watch for two years it looks as good as the day I bought it. Being Quartz it keeps perfect time. Being water proof I wear it in the shower and swimming. And being virtually scratch proof due to it's ceramic coatings I wear it while working, no matter what that involves. I can take it from working on the car to a dinner out giving it a gentle buff with an cloth to remove fingerprints.
I find that this watch is understated and only a few in the know have recognized it and commented. I also don't worry about wearing this relatively expensive watch in certain neighborhoods or public places because of it's understatement.
The Rado Sintra would also make a fine gift which I can assure you will result in ever growing appriciation by the wearer as they come to recognize it's subtle strengths.
My only regret is that I paid near full price and see that it can be purchased here for far less than I paid.
